Multi Source Power was founded in 2013 by CEO Simon Patterson. Following years of experience in the design of hybrid and electric marine drive trains, Simon spotted the opportunity to transfer these technologies on shore in the growing energy storage market whilst maintaining the compact and durable design characteristics necessary for the marine environment.
Based In Cumbria
Multi Source Power moved to its current larger premises in Holme Cumbria in 2016. It now comprises of lab development areas, office space as well as over 2,000 sq. mtrs of manufacturing floor space.

As a British manufacturer of energy storage systems, Multi Source Power has recently been accepted into the Made in Britain organisation, which supports the British Manufacturing Community and allows the use of the MiB logo mark.
